Strider... The game that inspired it all. I was originally going to do a page all about how funny Strider is (much like Seanbaby's NES Page), but then I got Dragon Power (more on that later) and I had to dedicate an entire section to humor.

In Strider, you are first sent on a mission by that pimp with the scar on the title, to "Kill Kain". I believe his Exact words were... "HIRYU, THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON I ASKED FOR YOU TO COME FOR. KAIN WAS CAPTURED BY THE ENEMY. SINCE THEY ONCE KNEW WHO HE IS, RESCUING HIM IS MEANINGLESS. KILL HIM! THAT'S YOUR MISSION!" Wow, what a plot, eh? It leaves plenty of room for confusion, disarray, and overall topsy-turviness. But other than that, your mission is quite clear, right? Not the case. You get muddling mission descriptions from disks that read "I LOST MY ATTACK-BOOTS IN CHINA. PLEASE FIND THEM.". Good luck, and while you're at it, I think I misplaced my bike in Aisa, could you pick it up for me.

Luckily, you have a variety of cleverly named attacks, such as... Triangle Jump, and Slide. Triangle jump is a fancy way of saying wall jump, which only has one real use, and it involves getting an oxygen mask.
