n64 nostalgia?

Do you ever wonder what nostalgia will be like for kids who grew up with the N64? Do you think that, in 5 or 10 years, there will be a whole slew of '64-bit preservationists' out to save that rustic feeling you get from popping in wave race 64 or chamelion twist? I saw no way.
First of all, many people who are into the NES aren't even affected by nostlagia. They love the Nintendo for the sheer originality and fun of the games. They put up with dust for the thrill of finding a great game for a dollar as opposed to paying 65 dollars for a duplicate of another game you already have. I know people who didn't have an NES while growing up and they are now addicted to it. They love the low prices, the utter simplicity of the games, the orginality, the zapper. They have realised that graphics aren't what make a game. I know someone who sold his playstation and dreamcast and all of the games to buy a NES with a bunch of games. That is why some people play.
Other people like the NES for a reason brushed upon in the paragraph above, no 3D graphics. I, for one, hat them. They make me sick if I play a game that uses them for more than 20 minutes, literally. That is also why we are seeing more and more NESers getting a Dreamcast. The graphics may be 3D, but at least they look nice. That is all that it is to me, does it look nice. NES graphics, as crude as they may sometimes be, look good. I think they look much better than n64 or psx graphics, but that's just me.
Last, and what I feel most important is the fact that NES games have an original feel. Even if I pick up a nintendo game i have never played, I still get a 'nostalgic' feeling. Most NES games are innovative. Sure you have your 2D shooters, your puzzle games, just like every system, but there is more. Every game had to be well made and interesting. If it wasn't, the producers couldn't slap on 3D graphics, or 45 minutes of cut scenes, or even a sexy superhero that teenage dorks like to fantasize with. They wouldn't be able to sell a game if it wasn't good. N64 games are so similar that when people try to remember which game they played for nostalgic reasons they can't remember!
So, are 'N64 Drones' doomed to have a nostalgialess future? Well... there's always books! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
