-----------------------------------Info Ramble

Maybe if we all bug King Sushi or Nakoo enough, they'll start a new section. :)

O.k. all, I decided to finally do one last week, the first Ramble I made was bad though so I decided one of Nintendo information that I've not heard about on the net before, so now here is a "info-ramble".

"Nerf Alert" Electronic Arts employees, all of them, from janitors to Execs are armed with five Nerf balls, when someone needs a break or is bored they call a Nerf Alert to shut lights off and have a office war........(I want to work there!!!)

Gumshoe was a game were you originally slaughtered Indians.

In one game, the bad guy was named a Jews ear, which in a Japanese dictionary, was a starfish, memo sent to Japan said to "Please remove Jews ear." [the book isn't specific on which game]

First Nintendo show aired in Fall of 1988.

I want one; Nintendo employees have "Green game Bibles" for game play help, [sounds like a souped up players guide].

Nintendo of America Exec. Arakawa has to approve any and all employee hirings, and all of the budgeting og anything above $50.000, the system Nintendo uses does alot of micro-managing to insure no possibilities of repeated scenarios similar to what happened with Atari.

Nintendo had a serious problem with competition, what Nintendo did do was to aggressively protect its turf, meeting any perceived threat to its continued growth, no matter how small, head-on, sometimes with bigger guns than neccesary. The idea was to nip any threat in the bud lethally. Howard Lincoln never denied the company's reputation for litigiousness. Rather, he exploited it. " Lincoln's motto was 'F*** with us and we will destroy you,'" says a fellow attorney. "Otherwise he's a real nice guy." [that's hard to believe.....a nice lawyer. LOL!

Nintendo had a few slaps in the face themselves......in 1989 a antitrust lawsuit was announced and a hearing scheduled without the knowledge and opportunity for Nintendo to send a representitave, they held a news conference announcing the decision on December 7th Pearl Harbor day[and one day after my B-day aswell].

Info ripped from the book Game Over

Well that's it for now, more later.
