The story, is one I kinda liked. Basically there are 4 high schools in the city. Southside, and the schools up on "the hill", Wahsington, Jefferson, and Lincoln. The kids "on the hill" are rich snobs and the Southsiders beat them in sports all the time. Todd Thornely, one of the more infamous "hillers" decides to organize a no holds barred sporting event. He thinks that he can beat the Southsiders without rules. Heh, not likely....Also, Todd's dad enlisted some super athelets in "Team Thornely" to make sure the Southsiders don't win.

    As you can imagine, the 5 events, are based on real ones, with the rules. slightly changed. The first of them is 400 meter hurt-les. Basically, in this, you have to be the first to beat your opponents across the finish line while beating the crap out of them. You can tear up the hurdles and use them to beat the crap out of your opponents. Kinda cool actually. Hammer throw golf is next. It's basically normal golf with....a hammer(the kind you throw). Then there's Water Slaughter. One of the funner events, in this game, you try to drown your opponent. Then you've got Skyline Scramble. In real life, this is probably the STUPIDEST thing a person could do, in it you have to go from building to building by pole vaulting or unicycling. Thank god for video games huh? The last event is well..... a street fight, kinda fun actually.

    There are 3 modes of play in this game. There's Normal in which you pick a school and go through all 5 events. In between events you can buy items to help you in the events. In "Short" you just choose 3 events and play them through. In Practice, you just choose one.

    You can choose one of 4 schools in the game. Each school consists of 5 members each with different strengths and weaknesses. So you may want to choose someone with high speed for the hurdles events and may want to choose a strong guy for the Hammer Throw Golf. Except for the Southsiders though...Crash is totally dominant in that school.

    This game is an awsome one. Really cheap at Funco but pretty hard o find. Play it.

The characters in all Technos games look alike, but who cares? Some nice detail of the gritty city though. I give it a 6	Pretty good stuff, there's even some classical music in here. I give it a 7	Pretty generic. I give it a 5	You'll need how to do all the events. That's what the practice modes for anyway. I give it a 4	Though you can't tell from the Graphics, control and sound. This is an incredibly fun game. Especially with friends. I give it an 8.5
